Dreamers -- So Long, It's Been Good To Know Ya.

No, I don't.  You all need to stop putting Obama on a pedestal.  Sure, he's better than Trump, but that's a low, low, low bar. He should have done more.  He let Citibank pick out his cabinet.  He was not on our side.

Nancy Pelosi does an 8 hour filibuster for the Dreamers and then says the Republican bill is a "good deal."  The deal also includes another massive increase to the military, with no protest by Democrats.

There were many Democrats who protested. In fact I think a majority voted "No". The Bill funded health clinics and a number of other Dem priorities. Many would argue that when you're in the Minority you take what you can get.

And you can read Drummerboy's comment in the Parade thread to see why Congress will never vote against more military spending.

If it were up to me I would greatly defund the Military. I'd probably renounce all War and Military spending. It's not up to me.

A long time ago in a galaxy far away there were Republicans who opposed military spending.

One who dared to stand completely alone.
