All hosts on WBAI participate on a voluntary basis without financial compensation. Cohosts can participate remotely.

No radio experience is required however applicants should have a warm voice and speak clearly. Familiarity with topics such as woman’s health issues, reproductive rights, the gender pay gap, work-life balance, and gender based violence is also preferred.
