The Italian “sanitary bakery” in Orange used to make it around Christmas - very authentic
I can confirm that Jeannie and Staff will have fresh baked usually during the week before Christmas!

Best Regards,
Ron Carter
I just checked and they will start having them tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec 19. I'd suggest calling and "ordering" if you want. I think I heard $3.50 each.
They seemed to have a larger selection and a number of new items this morning when I stopped by.
Happy Christmas,
Ron Carter

Phil Serrani's Sanitary Bakery, for more than eighty years a family bakery, is over on south essex near route 280. They make pantetone all year, but made fresh and sold. Most of their traffic is early in the day as people would and do get the days bread at the start of the day. They have lots of wonderful italian and portuguese breads and treats. I get mine sliced. very inexpensive. if you need for gifts, call and they will make them for you. as I have done. Sliced toasted with butter. A New Jersey treasure!
