Speaking of parking in South Orange, why does the building at Third and Valley have un-metered parking along Valley Street (2 hours)?
Important Update
I have just been advised that this case Will NOT be heard tonight.
It has been carried to the April meeting.
My concerns, are the added traffic, parking and safety of the resident of
South Orange. There are many disabled and elderly people that regular walk in
the down town. With added traffic there is a lot of concern for their safety.
Where are all these cars going to park? The Village Hall backs house, what are
they going to do to keep the noise leave down, so it does disturb the people
that live in these houses and people living near by? I for one never wanted
South Orange to sell the Village Hall in the first place. I always felt the
Village Hall should stay the Village Hall.

According to adjacent business owners, the South Orange Planning Board will be hearing an application this evening from the developer of Village Hall for a waiver as to number of parking spaces to allow 71 instead of 201 as well as other concessions. Those concerned about parking availability should look into this.
