This Saturday: 40 Maple Street, New Providence, NJ 07974, from 10 AM to 3 PM

Scandinavian breads & cakes, pickled herring, cheese, jams/preserves, candy,

Christmas ornaments, Jewellery, Norwegian sweaters and candles (incl advent candles & the real christmas tree candles).

Lunch (Scandinavian open face sandwiches) can be purchased.

The annual 'import sale', this is the primary fund raiser for the Lodge, which helps support a host of community activities in the Summit/New Providence area, Vasa Park in Budd Lake, and other deserving causes.

We've always gone to this, and it's great (and resulted in my Dale sweater Xmas gift last year-- yay me). Never fail to leave with something and folks couldn't be nicer.

Question: Due to a packed schedule on Sat we might not be able to make this year...any scoop on the fair in Montclair on Sunday?

Please note the address of 40 Maple St in New Providence is the Salt Brook Elementary School. ..Tomcat and I will be working the sale....Tomcat (aka my great Dane) will be in the food dept. and I will be in the jewelry dept. (aka the non-Scandinavian spouse).
