The only thing unusual about Trump is how successful he has been despite being a pig and a thug.  The details of his behavior are all too common.

Sprinklers are of course a no-brainer for buildings like these but I have to wonder if the bill would also be opposed by individual unit owners.  It would be a pretty invasive project and I’m sure much of the cost would be borne by them not the developer.

That and the Golden Showers with the Russian hookers.  I don't want to slut shame the POTUS but urine play with prostitutes is a little outside the pool of accepted norms.

I don't think I am going out on a limb to say that what we don't know about this man might surprise (and disgust) us.

I asked the same thing earlier. What exactly is Trump's legal relationship with the building? I believe most of the building is residential condos, so there must be an HOA who would be responsible for planning and paying for major improvements. Don't know about the retail/office space. But regardless, it's not like a tenant-occupied rental building, where he would clearly have sole responsibility for this work.

Next time someone asks what white, male privilege looks like, just point them to Trump. He's unusual in getting elected POTUS (not so many electoral college/popular vote splits in our history), but his overall "success" is less unusual than it ought to be.
