It's an incredible and incredibly disturbing story, which is being adapted for feature film. One of the brothers lived here in Maplewood.
The Jewish community is reeling over this entire episode. Not just of these three brothers, but the entire incident with Louise Wise. Extremely painful.
That was some movie. I had no idea of the turn that it would take.
Highly recommended.
The So Orange Library read Identical Strangers by Elyse Schein several years ago. Haven't seen the movie yet but high on my list. Read the book for a look at a pair of separated twins

This was good, but dull in comparison to the THREE identical strangers and the way they found each other. It's a must see!

This is one of those movies that is better the less you know about it. (I recommend skipping the trailers which make it seem more exciting than it really is, and definitely save reading the reviews until after seeing it since they seem to all summarize the 'plot').
So, in brief: The title refers to triplets separated at birth (actually at a few months old)... . While not explicitly stated in the film, two of them lived in Maplewood in the 1990's.
Interesting true story and thought provoking. I recommend seeing it while it's here.
(I considered bringing my kids, but after seeing it, I don't think my tween/early teen would understand the psychological impacts of what occurred. Also there are some very mature themes that you can't explain to them while sitting in the middle of a theater. Probably OK for older teens.)
