the button recently added/recently updated is confusing to me.  the default is recently created - which is redundant if you are looking at recently updated since these recently updated is the one most inclusive of current content.   the default should be the recently updated screen, I think as a usability issue.

 We opted out of PARC (why test when results are not coming back until October when it is meaningless?). I am looking for a bumper sticker.

 I believe it's a sort difference. Recently added seems to sort by when the thread was created. Recently updated sorts by last post.

Once I go to "My Accounts" I can't find my way back to the discussions without going back to the link in the email regarding the forum upgrade.

You aren't alone and you aren't too old.  According to a post from Dave that I saw earlier, this is something they are looking into.

Just testing to see what words it will filter out. So I guess ass is in, ***** and ***** are out.

Change is hard ... but I recall that every time the board has changed we griped and moaned but ultimately came to prefer the new one.  And the fact that this one is under Dave and Jamie's control makes me quite optimistic.

I also think that the progress made so far is nothing short of amazing.

Too bad most IT projects don't go this well!

 For now, HTML tags don't work. Dave said that they are converting all the old links first, then they'll activate it for new links.

Dave or Jamie posted somewhere that they are working on the links issue.  I can't find the post right now, but I think it said that they first had to address links in existing posts and then would be able to handle new posts with links, so I'm thinking it may take some time. 

also, anyone who wants to listen to our song can copy the link and paste it into your browser

 Also, it's disappointing that the original text does not show up in the comment box when you quote it.

ParticleMan - the white dot seems to happen if I come in via AOL, not if I'm using Internet Explorer. With IE, I can see the pictures without having to do anything additional.

Is there a place where I can find starred/bookmarked threads from the old site?  Coming later?  SOL?

On the Discussions page, I' missing the count of new posts to threads I have viewed.  Hoping it reappears after a while.

 It should show as a +x next to the thread title on the right. Still showing here.

 On the old board, when you quoted someone who used a word that had been replaced by ****, you would get the original, non-**** wording.  It was more colorful.
