On April 2, 2019, Harris said "I believe them," in reference to four women who had by then accused Biden of inappropriate touching.
What's FalseHarris has not said that she believes all of Biden's accusers, in particular Tara Reade, who, almost one year after Harris' remarks, accused Biden of raping her. When questioned about Reade's allegations, Harris did not say that she believed them.
Fox News specified, in its headline and article, that the allegations that Harris said she believed related to inappropriate touching, but other outlets were less specific. The Blaze, for example, published an article with the headline “Flashback: VP Pick Sen. Kamala Harris: I ‘Believe’ Biden Accusers” — a formula of words which could have given readers the mistaken impression that Harris had said she believed each and every woman to have accused the former vice president of various offenses.
For its part, The Federalist falsely claimed that Harris had said she believed “Biden’s rape accusers.” But in reality, there were not multiple accusers. Only one woman, Tara Reade, has accused Biden of rape, and Harris said “I believe them” nearly a year before Reade first publicly made that particular allegation, which Biden has vehemently denied. When asked about Reade’s accusation, Harris did not say she believed it, and issued a firm defense of Biden’s record on violence against women and women’s rights.

The point behind it is that Kamala Harris is a hypocrite because she said some bad things about Biden and now she supports him.
Just like top Trump supporter Lindsey Graham loves Joe Biden.

Last night I saw a meme accusing Kamala Harris's great-great-great grandfather of being a slave owner in Jamaica. Fact checking revealed that Harris's family does suspect that they are descended from slave owner Hamilton Brown. But that is not a Harris family "scandal." If it's true, it's evidence of another of the horrors of slavery -- that Harris's great-great-great grandmother was raped by the man who enslaved her.
Right wingers are going full racist on Facebook now. Trump really let that our of the bottle didn't he?

That one REALLY annoyed me, and showed just how IGNORANT my fellow white people can be.
A good number, if not most, African Americans who trace their ancestry back to before the Civil War have a slaveholder in their family line - because their female ancestors were raped, and the resulting children kept in slavery. It's pathetic that people have to be reminded of this.

Meanwhile the GAO has effectively concluded that Chad Wolf and Ken Cuccinelli are impersonating government officials, ineligible to hold their acting office positions, and that Kevin McAleenan did not have the authority to appoint them.

No, I think it can be explained by ignorance coupled with trusting the wrong people - in this case, trusting anything said on behalf of Trump or the GOP. without a thorough fact-checking.
Until you get a thorough fact-checking of what they're saying, it's safest to assume guilty until proven innocent.

I don't buy that. They know exactly what GOP / Trump are doing, they are just choosing to ignore it, partly because they think the end justifies the means, partly because they want to stick it to the libs. With mtierney it is more of the latter, she just enjoys enraging libs, and it is also a nice bonus that it distracts us from the travesty that is really going on.

Not to beleaguer the issue, but cartoons, political or otherwise, are created to highlight, interpret, ridicule, or praise news events. Cartoons have historically been editorial features of newspapers. Often the same cartoon will elicit different and even opposing interpretations by viewers.
Cartoons don’t lie, unless the viewer sees the story as offensive to his own opinion.
