Hmm. Be careful what you wish for. The 50+ million angry folks who voted for Trump could go a long way making sure any boycott backfires, kind of like that election thing did.

But if it makes you feel any better, I promise to never buy a Trump Steak.

Highly doubtful Trump wines are all that popular in France.

U.S. Exports to all of Europe, nevermind France, are 2-3% of U.S. GDP. If France tries it Germany may give birth to a flock of canaries, given the level of German exports to the U.S.

This is assuming that tariffs in some way need supranational blessings for member counties. Wouldn't hurt the U.S. meaningfully in any case. Bluff or not.
