Mueller Time

Nasty of Buck to use Mueller's service to question his handling of the investigation.

Who is the Monopoly Man, (Rich Uncle Pennybags) looking over Mueller's shoulder?

Buck's questioning is backfiring. You can charge after Trump leaves office. Yes we can.

OK Mr. Cicilline go for it.

To Mr, Biggs, Mueller notices his smirk and asks "Are you questioning that?"

OK add this Republican to the list.

Once again this time to Mr. Lieu, he does not subscribe to the obstruction conclusion.

At least Swalwell got the signed letter admitted. How many signatures did he say?

Jamie Raskin goes to witness intimidation by the President.

Ms. Jayapal also on witness tampering.

Reschenthaler calls the report un-American and that from a former JAG attorney?

The Republicans seem to be criticizing the fact that Mueller issued a report?

Its that circular logic, if he couldn't indict he shouldn't have investigated although he was hired to investigate. Sickening.

It's always special when bone-spurs Trump or any of his supporters suggest the Mueller's work is un-American.

Mr. Steube he did not want the bloody job!

Again with the Steele dossier.

They are asking questions that he said at the outset he can not answer. Playing to the crowd assembling for the next rally.

I am guessing that most who voted for Trump in 2016 still support him and that all  who voted for Clinton in 2016 will vote for a Democrat in 2020.

These hearings aren't going to change most people's minds.  What matters for 2020 is:

1.  Voter mobilization - will the turnout be higher and who will  benefit.

2.  The slice of Trump voters who can be persuaded to vote for the Democratic candidate in 2020.

Nice injection of humor in his response to Ms. Garcia. Clarifying the seriousness of lying to him she asks if she lied could she go to jail for 5 years. He answers yes but qualifies with an exception,  well its congress.

Nice backlash to Armstrong, Mueller says he does not consider staffs political leanings.

Save us please Mr. Neguse, find out about Don Jr., Hope Hicks and dare I say "the emails."

Mr. Johnson is getting in the record the mysterious 14 angry Democrats and 0 Republicans. And of course the "lurid" emails between Strzok and Page.

To quote a common phrase in courtrooms, "Is there a question anywhere in the near future.

What a nasty conclusion from Johnson.

Nadler looks like he’s dying for an Angry Whopper.

Nice summation Mr. Stanton. Listing the Republican presidents who hired Mueller from Reagan through Bush.

I think I’ll switch over to the Fox post-game show just for laughs.

I might but I'm being soothed by the gentle reassuring voice of Chuck Rosenberg.

ETA Peeking and I think they watched a different hearing.

A quick glance at the Fox News website shows what many Americans will be told about today's hearing. They basically tell the tale of a flustered bumbling fool.

Ken Star said there is no reason for Mueller to have written Volume 2.

 Why, was it investigator overreach?

Ken Starr, who turned the investigation of a land deal into a steamy sex romp report.

I think that was the idea. He was hired to look for collusion or conspiracy and if he found none there was no need to go further? Or was he thinking that if you are not guilty you would try to shut the investigation down. Not sure, I tuned in as he was speaking.

He's not getting rave reviews from the Dems either. Hope things you better at Intel.

Serious opening by Adam Schiff. Hammering home the word lies.

I was hoping Nunes would call in sick.

Points to Nunes for originality. Comparisons to the Lock Ness Monster do not appear frequently in Intel hearings.

Turns out his name is James Quarle who was blocked by Barr from testifying and seems to be getting a fair amount of online attention.

Mueller looking good with Adam Schiff.

Someone else comment on Nunes. The words that come to mind would get me kicked off this discussion board.
