Charge Donald Trump with treason, maybe execute him

So how does trolling the Russians to hack emails containing purportedly mindless chit chat about her daughter's wedding rise to the level of an assault on national security again?

No different from NSA listening to Angela Merkel schedule an appointment with her dentist.

Well, it would be no different if the NSA then released the content of those conversations in an effort to sway Merkel's reelection.

Any German politician who called upon the NSA to do so would be (figuratively) pilloried by the German public. Germans were outraged by the revelations of spying, not encouraging it.

You really don't get this whole equivalence thing, do you? All your examples tend to show the opposite of what your point seems to be.

so her deleted emails did contain sensitive national security information or didn't they?

Ooh.  I see what you're doing here.

Or maybe I'm agreeing with you and my examples mean exactly what I want them to mean.

Ohhhhhhhh.

Ah - that was directed at Robert_Casotto, not you, sorry. And that's why we have the "quote" feature I guess...

ETA - AND why one shouldn't rush-post. Looks like I conflated your post with RC's above yours.

Trump on Friday: We shouldn't be paying rent for our military base in Saudi Arabia.

Me on Saturday: We don't have a military base in Saudi Arabia.

Then again, I didn't receive a classified military briefing on Thursday.

Scary, eh?

ohh  Whoa. I thought disclosing any aspect of "classified" material is prohibited because of the risk to the national security of the United States.  Trump's lack of discipline and immaturity is a comedy punch line while he campaigns, but would be terrifying if he were elected POTUS.

Tough call on that one. Technically we don't have a base there, but we do have a facility where around 2,000 US troops are stationed outside of Riyadh called Eskan Village.

"Dear Twitter:

We gotta push this phony Trump disclosure of classified information meme. Get on it.

DWS."
