Bernie and Cruz win.

Sanders should retract and correct his statement that 10,000 civilians were killed. Requests have been made to him to do so. Assuming that it was a mistake, his failure to correct the number is irresponsible, and allows Hamas to use it as propaganda.  I don't think that Sanders is irresponsible, but he will be if he fails to correct his statement.

The statement was corrected during the interview.

Paul- Grim doesn't do much at all in the way of defending Sanders on his banking idiocy, unless you're looking at a different article than I am.

Not sure what you're looking for, but Grim makes the point that Sanders understands the mechanisms for breaking up banks too big to fail.

It was the interviewer who did some checking and corrected Sanders. Sanders did not acknowledge the correction.

In deference to @LOST, Sanders might be excused due to fatigue, or the fact that the interviewer moved on to asking about drones.

"Daily News: Okay, while we were sitting here, I
double-checked the facts. It's the miracle of the iPhone. My
recollection was correct. It was about 2,300, I believe, killed, and
10,000 wounded."

eta - As you know, the ADL has requested of Sanders that he retract and correct his mistake.

That we are now more than two days after the release of the transcript and Sanders has not retracted, corrected and apologized is making his actions infinitely worse.

Hillary just releases comments and statements all.the time and constantly  that have no basis in fact at all and are wildly destructive. She admits she's not good at campaigning. What she doesn't realize that the problem is integrity, that is her lack thereof.

Why is she saying it's "silly" for Bernie to question her credentials and qualifications when she said Bernie "didn't do his homework and the press was quoting them as "planning to disqualify and defeat" Bernie?

As was pointed out not by him and he did not acknowledge or accept the correction. He still totally owns his original statements. And the fact that we are now closing in on 3 days is intolerably outrageous. Based on his original statements and failure to correct and apologize he is absolutely 100% as bad as Donald Trump.

Total.BS. If you love Bramzzoinks, I guess you hate Bernie. So now, I promise to sit back and let others here hash it out, unless I need to defend myself in some way against nasty comments against me.

Trump has said many outrageous and wrongheaded things but Sanders comments verge on blood libel.

Another thrillingly brilliant post.

Not a blood libel, but a statistical error that was corrected within minutes.

Again not by him or acknowledged or accepted by him.

On Wednesday, responding to the ADL's urging to correct the inflation of the civilian death toll, Sanders told the ADL CEO that he knows that he got the death toll numbers wrong,  and after their  conversation issued a statement  clarifying that his recollection that there were 10,000 civilian Palestinian deaths was inaccurate and that the interviewer corrected him in the course of their conversation - a correction that he accepted. On the audio of the interview, Sanders said "okay" after the interviewer corrected him, which did not appear in the transcript.

Way to grudging.  What about an appology for the great harm his initial words caused and the aid it gave Hamas.  Or walking back his other blood liables about hospitals being bombed and lots of apartment buildings leveled.

In other words, the correction you complained was not there, was in fact there.

You keep flinging the term "blood libel", which carries an implied accusation of anti-semitism (especially when the topic involves Israel).

Okay, so you're supplying commentary from the "Bernie Sanders is an anti-Semite" claim.  Good luck with pushing that nonsense.
