Springsteen. Giants Stadium. Full Albums Played. Discuss. archived

Anyone else have a great time last night? Born To Run may be the most perfect album ever made.

I'm sorry to not be able to go tonight. I think he's really going to go out in style.

I definitely enjoyed BTR over BITUSA. I agree one of the best albums ever made. The lyrical depth and emotion stand out even more when performed live. Opening numbers same as Saturday. Nice string of songs at the end .

Because the Night
Human Touch
Lonesome Day
The Rising
Badlands

Saint in the City, My Love Will Not Let You Down, Because The Night. Great 3-pack of songs. Nice to hear Human Touch as well. There are some decent songs off the Human Touch/Lucky Town albums but they get left behind because of their association with his "lost" period.

The group I was with was going nuts during My Love Will Not Let You Down. Great to hear Human Touch . Agreed good stuff on HT/LT. Hearing Backstreets and Because the Night live makes you appreciate how freakin' great those songs are.

Will we hear this tonight?

Had a fantastic time! The place was on fire! Again, amazing set list, amazing performance. Didn't hurt that I was with some amazing friends, too.

Wish I could go tonight as well. It's going to be one for the books, no doubt.

Think there will be any surprise guests tonight? I heard U2 was still in town and I was thinking Jon Bon Jovi might want to send off the stadium as well. Very exciting possibilities!

I was checking out the weather charts, and there's a good chance that any of us at tonight's show may be crossed by the rain.

Latest says rain may hold off until 10 or 11pm. Lots of guest rumors swirling on the radio. I won't spoil any by telling what I heard. the other two were just my personal guesses.

Where's the tailgate party?

Thanks to Mr. Zona for the invite to drop by his tailgate last evening, and sample some of his selected "theme" wines.

We had a great time at the concert, which as the song says, was the "last time".

Having met Nohero, Im now up to 10 or 11 MOLers that I now know...was a pleasure meeting him finally and realized Id met Mrs. Nohero a bunch of years back..and was also great having all the others who joined us for the tailgate party. Sorry others couldnt swing by...but hey, that meant more for us! As for the show, I have so many thoughts and feelings about it...will write something up some day soon for my wine blog.

IF YOU'VE GOT THE GUTS, MISTER... AND IF YOU'VE GOT A BUCK-NINETY-NINE...

Columbia Records has released a live recording of Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band's "Wrecking Ball," available exclusively in the iTunes Store. The bundle includes the audio single (mixed by Bob Clearmountain), plus a music video shot during their five-night stand at Giants Stadium. The video was edited by Chris Hilson and Emmy and Grammy Award winner Thom Zimny and is different from the footage that was previously streamed on brucespringsteen.net.
