really, what's wrong with ketchup on a hot-dog and toasting a bagel? They should just let local business's deliver food to the pool.
I've always through that local businesses -- or a smart kid looking for some summer cash -- should set up an "every 30 minutes" delivery run from food vendors to the pool.

Or maybe going for the highest bidder for the contract doesn't always pay off. Perhaps there can be some sort of "known and approved vendor" bonus factored in. Tricky call.
