Uhh no. With the 0Z model runs last night (i.e. about 8 pm local time) the probable snow range for our area was between 2 and 4 inches. We got the high end of the probable range. FWIW this was a very sharp-edged system. I had to be in Blairstown around noon today. Heavy snow and lousy roads up to about Lake Hopatcong. Light snow from there to Hackettstown. No accumulation whatsoever in Blairstown.

I would strongly suggest calling the non-emergency phone number for the police department, explaining the situation and asking for guidance. It may be that a number of events for this evening will be canceled as a result of the timing of this storm.

Just to follow up on this, we did call the MPD, they gave us the go ahead and we informed ticket holders that they could change their tickets if they wanted to. Some did, but we ended up with an 80% house anyway and the audience and cast and crew had a great time. A fair few of us even continued the party at the Gate afterwards. Today was solid, too. 4 inches of snow couldn't dampen our spirits!

I did wear shorts this weekend - it was surprisingly comfortable.By far my coldest parts were hands and head.

However, I was out of town, so whoever you saw was just another kindred soul, resolute in not letting the weather dictate their sartorial freedom.
