Norman's fixed the ice maker for me at a fraction of the price another vendor quoted. They also fixed a draining problem I had with my dishwasher. They're super legit and honest. And a few years back, they fixed a heating issue with my dryer.

Good to hear you found someone who did a great job. In defense of Larry, who has  done good work for us as well as for cubby and sac, I don't think the Astre Appliance Service with the negative Yelp reviews is his Astre Appliance. He works out of Union County; the business on Yelp is linked to a Fairfield address and different phone number.

Yes, I have often heard that people who live much north of SOMA get somebody different if they call Astre.  Larry works out of Cranford and is mainly covering Union county although I know he does Maplewood and I think South Orange also. He has always done well by us (for 25 years or more) as I know that Norman and George have done well for many others.  (I called Norman once when Larry was on vacation and he was fine.)
