Scratch Taco / Froyo permanently closed?

We were surprised to see the windows papered over at the Scratch Taco / Froyo place a few days ago. No sign or note posted and we’re assuming this this a permanent closure. Anyone know the scoop and if there’s a new business slated to take over the space? 

Google says “Permanently closed”. 

Their website is still up and the online ordering function seems to be working. 

The phone just rings … no voicemail or anything.

The FB rumor is that the owners are refashioning it into a different type of restaurant. Not sure what that means.
