Gleason's cleaners on West Parker has a seamstress / tailor. I've only had simple things done so I don't know what work like this should cost.
I was disappointed last fall when I went to the seamstress at Gleasons to have a pair of pants shortened only to be told it would take longer than I expected. It was about two weeks before I needed it done, but too close to the event I was attending. I've used that location in the past, but this was not the person I dealt with previously and she was quite rude and, well, arrogant. I did it myself and am now thinking that I could start a new business with more of a service oriented perspective.
I had tried Gleasons in the past - but just to get an appointment to see the seamstress was a week out, and then even longer for turn around. Maybe I'll check with them again if I can't find something else. Thanks!
Teresa in Maplewood, sorry I forget her last name. She is amazing and reasonable. 973 761 4462.

I need simple items sewn - inexpensive items, so I would like to avoid spending too much to repair them. Any recommendations? TIA
