R.I.P. Author

Sad to hear this. I only knew him on MOL, but am sad for the loss to this online community, and to the wider offline community he was a part of. Deepest condolences to his family and friends.

If anyone has info as to funeral please post.

Author was a fixture in our cast of characters on MOL, and he will be missed.

Wow. While we definitely got into some scraps here on MOL, I always admired his passion for life and where we live. He will be missed.

He and I had the same birthday.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing. While I haven't been active here much lately I did enjoy some of the threads he was a part of. Was it not his staunch opposition to that thing that replaced the post office that kept this site the place to be for a while?

So sad to hear this.  I enjoyed Author's stories, rants, and musings. I didn't know him away from these pages but I always got the idea that he'd lived a full and adventurous life.

Oh, this is sad news indeed.
