 I agree. 

Is there anyone who avoids driving through the Vauxhall Neighborhood which is almost 100% African American. I tend to doubt it. 

I think the point is well-taken. The stakes are pretty low for a bunch of Trumpers to parade through a progressive town like Maplewood. Nobody is going to attack them, at the same time their signs and flags will do nothing to advance their cause. 

The point is merely to piss off a bunch of liberals. I don't know if that makes them feel tough or like they're serving a political purpose.

If you ask me, they're counting on the Democrats/ Liberals/ Progressives belief in free speech and tolerance to make what they're doing possible.

After a year of staying local, in mid April hubby and I went down to Ocean City, NJ for a long weekend.  I made him drive around the block and slow down so I could take this pic.

 I think it's more this^ than it is fear of scary Black people that sends these numbskulls to Maplewood.  One of their prime motivators is trolling the libtards.  And the libtards are in Maplewood, South Orange, Montclair, etc.

I don't know that I'd call it complaining.  Maybe I should have put eye roll emojis after all my posts.  None of the comments seem angry or like anyone's triggered.  I'm pretty sure if any of the paraders were reading this and saw that the reactions aren't angry or fearful they'd be disappointed.
