NY Comic Con- Tickets wanted (Sat)

long shot, I know but figured I may as well try. Kid wants to see Walking Dead panel at MSG on Saturday evening. He'd also love to get Jon Bernthal's autograph at the show. Any leads, let me know.

NYCC switched to a new ticketing format this year that required those wanting tickets to set up a fan verification proflie. This profile was then linked to a specific ticket shortly after the time of purchase. These changes were set up to try to combat tickets sales from scalpers and secondary sources. Reed Pop has said both that they will and will not be id-ing ticket holders so its a risk if you buy or borrow a ticket.

As for the walking dead panel, its been moved to a room inside madison sq garden . Con staff will not be clearing the room after earlier panels so some people are planning to sit through an entire day of panels just to see TWD. There have been a few posts on social media about people starting to line up already, even though NYCC has said they don't reccomend camping out.

Good luck. TWD panels hit capacity every year.

Yes, I knew the validation part and we are validated. I thought tickets could be transferred to a validated person? There must be some way because StubHub is selling them. And, yes, I read that about TWD panels and if a ticket was obtained, we'd be doing the same plan of arriving early for the first panel at MSG. Thanks. We already have our photos lined up with Andre Lincoln and most of the cast for WalkerStalkerCon Atlanta but thought this might be a fun one to see also. Next year I'll plan better.

the FAQs on NYCCs webpage said tickets are non transferable to anyone verified or not. Reedpop/ NYCC also said not to buy tickets from stubhub or ebay. The only official ticket seller is the comic con website (usually they have a ticket sale at midtown comics and in years past other area comic shops. Not so this year) . Verification is locked to whomever the tickets were originally verified for. There tons of postings of facebook with people offering tickets for sale and others claiming that verification doesnt matter. I honestly dont know how far they will take checking verification at the door. I'm the only one in my party that isnt industry / media / or an exhibitor and had to do the whole verification process and login to the ticket sales site the exact second they went on sale.

okay. Hey, if they have any extra media tickets for an obsessed teen, let me know! cheese

why do you think I had to go general admission lol. They've cracked down on everything in the last year or 2. DSLR and a website ? "i'm a cosplay photographer!" Nope. Not enough hits on my site or followers on social media. I'm published but it still wasnt enough.
