Granted we can talk about his "perceived brilliance" but we are left with the fact that he is oh so concerned

with his public image.   If his handlers have any level of intelligence above that of the Three Stooges they

will dissuade him

I'm not sure that they meet your criteria for intelligence given the Porter Saga!

Perhaps we can suggest that he have a funeral procession, a National Day of Mourning for all of those who have died in these violent mass shootings.

Among other things the cost of Trump's turkey parade shouldn't be an issue.  He's proposed cutbacks in the Federal budget such as home heating assistance for the poor, as well as the proposed canned goods food boxes to replace the SNAP program. So what if D.C.'s transportation hubs are shut down, asphalt mangled and scores of angry protesters arrested?  Will Putin get an invite?
