Wouldn't you be passing by Harrison and Newark? What is the advantage?
What a mess that would be, might be best to get on one of the earlier stops.
NJ Transit already has a contingency plan along the lines of the post-Sandy replacement bus service, which brought commuters mostly to ferries, or the PATH. Keep in mind crowding on the PATH is already as bad as the Subway, and the plan could add another 7,000 NE Corridor riders.

The Sandy plan had buses to new ferry routes from Liberty State Park. I don't see that in this plan, though it may not be finalized yet.
Keep in mind the 107 bus goes from SO Station to Port Authority, and will get added express service. Another option is the Community Coach bus from the So Mountain Arena Park & Ride.

My advice, for what it's worth, is to leave your car as close to home as possible. The carmageddon predicted before the Pulaski Skyway may come to pass. And the PATH will be dangerously overcrowded, only an option if that doesn't faze you.

In case of strike on 3/13 can you advise on the best drive and park for the PATH please. I'm considering Newark or Harrison and preferably elevator/escalator accessibility.
