Yes, I used to pretend I would someday kick in the NFL.  I could kick about a 25-30 yard FG.  Not easy.

I tried about 5 yrs ago at Underhill when I asked some kids who had taken a break if I could take a shot with their ball and tee. To their amusement, I missed the first 20-yarder, but I "made" the second. I say "made" because it was a low line drive that barely cleared the bar, would definitely have been blocked in a game situation. 

I agree, not as easy as it looks.
