Right. It has to be an existing active link copied from somewhere but not necessarily another page on the thread and then pasted into the add comments box.
How do you link to a post?
In the 'old ' forum, you could click on the time the post was made, and that would give you the link, but I can't see that here.
Or, am I missing something?

Joan, that happens when you post a link that is already set up on another page, right? Not when you post a raw web address?
