Tom, click on your name in the top right corner. You'll see a log-out option.

OK, this newfangled update is all well and good, BUT WHEN AM I GETTING A MOL IPHONE APP?? Your programmers are slacking.

When opening a thread I open at first post, not at last post I read. How to I get back to skipping everything I've read and opening at first post I have not?

not to be (even more) fussy, but can I have my old regular "anonymous" avatar back (same as galileo and BCC above)? no luck copy/pasting it into Avatar box in Profile.

That's useful, but it's not a replacement. I might follow and participate in various threads. Every so often, I want to see what's new in only the threads I have found to be interesting, and I want to see that list without any discussions I have bypassed or haven't examined yet. It was something we were able to do and we're not able to do any more.

We did put an annoying avatar to encourage people to upload their own - I'll make it a little more subtle. That avatar is only visible to you - everyone else sees the normal one.

You can still bookmark any thread - it's at the top right of the discussion. I'm still looking into if we can import the old ones.

I get 9,000,000 emails a day. If I check gmail one a day that's a lot, and it takes me forever. Little app button flashing a number at me? I'll head right in.

I love the messaging index. I was surprised to see some of the entries, especially from our deceased members. Some I simply don't remember, but two: Tempe's homecoming and @new207040 post about her tree, both of which I adopted helped me place their age--both of which I was wondering about. Tempe is eight and I've had the tree for three years. The Norfolk Island Pine is close to 8 feet tall now... Tempe is healthy and temperamental and still a small little thing.

Right now you can edit a thread title/comment with a week's time. (It was 15 minutes) We'll be weighing the pros and cons of this feature - for the moment it's a week.
