Kurt, not asking you to make a change in an already scheduled and publicized meeting.
But it might be a good idea in the future to have meetings regarding Maplecrest Park on this side of town, where most of the stakeholders live. There are meeting rooms in the Dehart Civic Center and the Hilton Branch that would be more appropriat venues. Assuming, of course, that by 'library' you meant the main branch.
Hi Max,
The Meeting is at the Hilton library, which is in the header of the message. We picked that location for the reasons you mentioned.
I will add it to the body to prevent further misunderstanding.
Thanks,
Kurt
Apologies, Kurt.
Just got the email, too:
The Maplewood Recreation Advisory Committee
Invites you to weigh in on a
NEW BASKETBALL COURT
at the Revitalization of the Tennis Court area
at Maplecrest Park
Please join us at the
Hiltin branch of the Maplewood Library
on
July 21st at 7PM
This meeting will allow residents to hear about the potential options and provide feedback on which is most desirable and will be most utilized.
Please feel free to email comments, questions, or concerns to MaplewoodRAC@gmail.com
We, your neighbors on the Recreation Advisory Committee, want your input before making a recommendation to the Township Committee.
Your participation is greatly appreciated.
No apologies needed Max, I should have ensured clarity in the initial post.
Kurt

Thank you to everyone that attended the meeting last night. We had a really good turnout of a diverse group of residents, many shared their support and concerns and gave constructive comments that will help improve this project.

P.S. Paul Surovell called first game!

The Maplewood Recreation Advisory Committee is gathering public feedback on new basketball courts and revitalized tennis courts at Maplecrest Park. The meeting will be held in the lower meeting room of the Hilton library. Looking forward to seeing you there.
