memorial day parade...what time?

I've gone on the site, gone on the forum, asked all my neighbors and nobody knows....what time does tomorrow's parade begin?

Parade kicks off at 9:00 am. If you and/or a family member are in the parade, you need to get to the assembly point by 8:15 am or so.

When we drove by Town Hall last night the sign said 8:30. We woke up late and didn't think we could make it in time. Now I see that we could have. Ugh. Add this to the recycling fiasco and I'm really starting to question the town's ability to get correct information out in an efficient manner, or in any manner at all.

I saw the sign too, when I walked by at about 7:30 am this morning. 8:30 was the assembly time for marchers not the time for the start of the parade.

Wouldn't the marchers already know when to assemble? The sign is meant for people in town to see while driving by so they know when to go see the parade, and it was one of those signs that changes every few seconds. I didn't realize I was supposed to stop and study it.
