Maplewood Motorcyclists?

Over 75 bikes showed up this morning, many of them rare or unusual models, like this Ariel Square 4. I watched the owner kickstart it- took many tries before it caught.

Ah, right. Good point. Okay, how about the next weekend?

I'm heading up to this tomorrow morning- going to meet 25+ peeps from a Triumph group I hang out with (from back in my Bonneville days):

Marc, Let me know next time you do this. I'm game to join you.

I saw the Squariel last Sunday at the Gathering of the Nortons at Washington's Crossing, PA.

I missed it last week as I was away, but the Gathering is a must see every year. I heard it was packed!

@mja, B&B is first Saturday of every month, so the next one is June 7th.

Yep, I game for the following weekend for sure.

Cool. Let's put it down: May 17th for the first Maplewood / South Orange riders' meetup. Anyone have strong feelings about the location? My nominations are above.

I ride with a few groups I like to jump around lol but may be down for a ride if it works out with my schedule I have a 2001 Harley bagger. If anyone wants to jump on the band waggon with me let me know like I said I have a few groups I ride with..

I'm fine with whatever location. My normal ride is Hawks nest to Hancock across to Bear Mt and then down the Palisades. I also do PA on occasion. Definitly up to learn some new routes.

Cannot do 17th. Out of town. Will catch up the next time.

Anyone heading up to the twisted throttle open house in NH? I've spent lots of money with them but never been there so I figured I might make a day if it and ride up.

I see it's Saturday, May 24th- that's just before I head to the Triumph bash in Vermont, so I don't think I'll be able to get away 2 weekends in a row. Bummer, as I used to buy from them all the time when I was doing terrible things to my VFR and Bonneville.

Lately I've been buying a lot from Revzilla due to my Philly connection, and I am planning to visit their showroom today- it's in a converted Navy yard here in town.

A friend of mine made the trip from Newton, NJ to Philly just to go to their showroom. He bought heated garments and boots and said it was a great shopping experience.

I've been to revzilla in Philly and the facility is less than impressive. Mostly just a warehouse with a very small showroom.

I guess the experience depends on if expects to be able look at nicely displayed chrome accessories or to be able to touch and try the merchandise before buying it. I have not been there to know how their showroom looked like but friend was able try and find the most suitable items fitting his preferences.

Another rider here. Yamaha FZ6-R.

I'd be up for a ride or two.

Possible that they have done some work since my visit last summer but there were only helmets jackets and such in the showroom when I visited. Definitely nothing like parts or accessories. Everyone in the store was cool though. Lots of knowledgeable staff.

Nice looking bike, @sportsnut.

Cool Kawi cafe racer posted in the classifieds.

This place is pretty cool. Fantastic selection.

These are all employee bikes (aside from my Guzzi). Most employees ride.

Don't remember a parking lot. Just an alley in front. There was also a big wall of helmets when I was there. It was a big deal to me because they even had lids my size and my head is huge! Did they move or something?

Nevermind, I did a search and see they moved. Showroom looks relatively the same though.

That's a lot of brain buckets.

If we're still going to do this on Saturday we need to decide on a spot to meet. I'm not sure everyone is up for a long ride, but maybe let's keep it casual since this is the first time were doing this.

Maplewood train station (park side)?

Also, I'm riding to this on Sunday if anyone wants to join me:

Cars & Croissants
Sunday, May 18, 8:30 - 11:00AM
The Chatham High School Parking Lot
255 Lafayette Avenue
Chatham, NJ 07928

I'm game for Saturday.

You guys pick. I have a hall pass the whole weekend so whenever it is I'll be there.

Man, I am jealous.....although the riding in upstate NY is really nice.

Americade starts June 2 in Lake Geoge.......
