If you have Google Chrome installed on your Mac, you can use that instead of Safari.
You might have some luck if you remove the cache database before starting Safari. To do that, open the Terminal app and type the following command and then press Return.
rm Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/cache.db

Hi,
My Mac mini is frozen in safari. I can't expand, contract or close it. I can't scrawl up or down on the post that's on the screen.
Things I've tried: Com Q, force quit- closed safari but returns to exactly same point when reopened, clear history-disabled. I rebooted- returned to same place.
Any ideas wouldbe greatly appreciated- please keep it simple I'm a technotwit.
