Ira Glass is coming to MPAC in Morristown next week! I think he spoke at CHS (or somewhere?) a few years ago but I wasn't able to attend, so I'm really looking forward to this. I'm curious to see if he mentions anything about Serial... while it doesn't seem he was the driving force behind it and doesn't seem to take much credit for it, he was the editorial advisor and its popularity was unprecedented.

Ira Glass, creator of This American Life and editorial advisor for Serial, talks about pushing broadcast journalism to do things it doesn't usually do. Glass recreates stories from the program, combining his narration with pre-taped quotes and music. He also plays funny and memorable moments from the show, and what was behind their creation.
