I bump into Derek from time to time. (You know he's retired from working for Aunty?)

He now does MC-ing, corporate work, etc. We caught up with him last ANZAC Day at Melbourne's Shrine of Remembrance, for the launch of his book, "The Promise" http://derekguille.com.au/book/

I learnt that a) you can keep me talking well past the stage of knowing I'm tired and b) I can feel much older than I actually am, as a result the next day.
