And this is why I never rush out to get the latest version. I'd rather wait until they work out all the kinks.
Apparently there have only been 9 instances of the phone bending. ALl tests show you have to use all your might to bend it, so those that have bent theirs in their pocket clearly had defective devices, which is expected with the # of units sold.
I have a new iPhone 6 and I like it very much! Of course I'm taking reasonable care not to bend or damage it ... but isn't that obvious with a larger but slimmer phone? (I didn't sit on my old one either.)
People don't realize how much pressure you can exert on something in your pocket. I actually bent my house key in my pants pocket. Don't get me wrong, I know I need to lose a few pounds, but I didn't think I had enough heft to bend a house key!scottgreenstone said:

Speaking of bent iPhone 6's... yeah, it's the second time this has happened to me in 6 months. It's not actually visibly bent, but bent just enough to make my touches not register, occasional flash of grey bars, etc. ARGH. Anyone able to recommend a tank-like case for a 6 Plus? :/
