Hotels in Delray Beach, FL

can you recommend a family friendly hotel that is also nice for adults? Thinking about visiting the in laws and need a place to stay that is both family friendly....tempered with the features that make it a vacation for me, too.

My parents are snowbirds in Delray and I've been going there at least once a year for the last 10 yrs.  Only hotel I know of down there is the Marriot that's right across from the beach.  You could also look into an Air Bnb - pretty sure there are listings in Delray.  Hope you find something. We love visiting and are always sad to leave.

Delray Beach Marriott is the place. Across the street from the beach.

The Marriot is the best location --downtown and right on the beach. There are other options-- take a look at the Parliament Inn.  (I'm lucky to live in Delray, so I've never actually stayed in a hotel here). Also, if you choose a hotel a bit inland, check to see if one of the free Delray shuttles picks up there-- downtown/beach parking can be tricky at this time of year.

I'min Delray right now.  We have a time share at the Berkshire on the Ocean, which also rents out units that the owners aren't using.  Each unit can sleep 4--two in the bedroom and two on a sofa bed in the living room.  Each unit has a complete, if tiny, kitchen a good sized bathroom and 2 flat screen tvs. We're right on the beach--you don't have to cross the street, and there's a pool and a shuffleboard court.

Plus a Trader Joes has just opened right over the bridge on the intracostal. Google the website, and give the office a call.

check out Sundy House. It is very charming and quaint, and the grounds are lovely. You can walk to absolutely everything. The restaurant is also very good.
