My point in raising the question is two-fold. Firstly, neither of our governments' policy advisers seem to be heartening to their supposed Christian precepts if they're ignoring these simple examples. And secondly, adhering to these practices and thereby recreating the wrong kind of biblical examples surely means they're creating modern heroes among those they're oppressing - which exactly what set set off the resentment and terrorism resulting in 2001...??

 I believe that the clown prince at this point has over reached himself.  What we are now experiencing is what you get when a great nation elects a failed builder and a tv host as its chief executive.  We expected bad and got worst.  He has more skeletons in his closet than a haunted house.

I put little faith in Congress to do the right thing.  It is in the courts and the justice dept that his Waterloo will come.

The corruption of Watergate is being repeated.  Never thought this could happen twice in one lifetime.

We are a great Nation and we shall persevere.

 In the 2016 election the Sate of West Virginia voted for the clown overwhelmingly 67 per cent.

My daughter is on the medical staff of the University at Morgantown.  There are sections of W.VA where I have driven through that every third pick up I see seem to have shot guns and rifles mounted on the rear of the cab.

And yet the other day a large march was held, supporting the children.  The march was held in 90 degree weather through miles of Morgantown.

By all means, we should fight.  I'm just saying that we shouldn't expect easy victories because the enemy has "overreached" himself.

A couple of nights ago they had a gubernatorial debate in West Virginia where the Democrat and the Republican basically spent the evening trying to show that they each loved Trump more than their opponent.

This fight is no where near its end, in fact it is just beginning.

All this does is allow Trump to imprison children indefinitely, as long as they are with their parents.  Not much of a victory as far as I can see.

 Considering your and Morganna's accurate assessment of the political situation I'll take what small victories we can get and the way to hopefully a great victory.

 The hue and cry over the children was the fact that they were being separated from their parents.

As much as he zigged and zagged and blamed the situation over on everyone but himself,  it could not be sustained.
