Check with the Maplewood DPW on Boyden south of Springfield - they might let you drop them off.
I just dropped mine off in my town yard/dump. You can always drop off (there) even after seasonal pick up service ends.
Went over there today, they were very accommodating. Thanks for the advice!

I've got a number of Home Depot paper bags full of garden waste--clippings, twigs, etc. It's past the Waste Industries period for picking that stuff up, and the town won't do it until the early Spring. Any other ideas as to how to get rid of it? My garage is pretty small and I'd like to clear it out.
