Free Dog and Cat Rabies Vaccinations Dec. 12

The Maplewood Health Dept., Furry Hearts Rescue and St. Hubert's Animal Welfare are cosponsoring a free dog and cat rabies vaccination clinic at the Dunnell Road Fire Headquarters Saturday Dec. 12 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.   Furry Hearts Rescue will also be offering microchipping for $20.00.   In order to get a 2016 dog license, your rabies must be good through Sept. of 2016.  So, this clinic is a good opportunity to update your dog's rabies vaccine.  Rabies in wild animals is still being found in Maplewood with a rabid raccoon found this past October.  Vaccinating pets is the first line of defense to protect them and your family.  Contact Health Dept., 973-762-8120 x4400 for further info.
