Perfect, thanks!
Saw this announced on the News Record website but haven't seen it elsewhere. No listing of food vendors was given. Does anyone know if the TC meeting is still on for tonight?

I don't know.
I do know that 1 contentious matter was due to be discussed tonight, and that one Committeewoman was predicting that there would be fireworks.

Yeah this is a problem. We are considering heading over for dinner and the fireworks but without knowing what they have we're waffling.
So we weren't around yesterday and thus have no tickets. But we can get in?
If I wanted to just make a donation who would I contact?
So there was a Facebook posting with some food options.
I don't know how many of these will be there tonight.

Should not be a problem since wrist bands are not required for the fireworks this evening. Donation should be made to the 4th of July Committee. Their contact information should be posted on their Facebook page or their website.

There are no tickets needed tonight-- it is free and open to everyone.
Plenty of open space right now. Lots of elbow room in the main field/viewing area. Most vendors returned.

Thank you for asking this.
We bought tickets but wondering if it will be too crowded inside the fences. Planning to arrive around 8:45. Anyone know if you can see them from the train station?
Not sure you can get near the train station. I'd check the MPD release for closures first.
You might even be able to see the fireworks from Maplewood Avenue. But for those looking for food why not patronize one of the local merchants and then just walk through the tunnel.
I read elsewhere that the fireworks are now set off at the amphitheater. Assuming this is correct, I doubt that viewing will be permitted by the train station.
There is plenty of room on the field closer to the tennis courts. Come on down!
I think my family ingested some pepper spray while getting to our car... cough... cough.
Excellent Fireworks - Nice small town atmosphere
Perhaps there should be some regulation for the foolish (not the adjective I really wanted to use) owners who brought their dog to the fireworks. Watching them cover the dogs ears and eyes while the dog cowered in the chair was disturbing at best. Thought of posting their picture, but hoping the comment will make them think twice next year

mayhem on Valley walking home. Some sort of fight brewing.
The mayhem is on right now, actually, on the Irvington border, after a dozen or so MPD cars escorted a large group of obnoxious and raucous teens down Midland, down Elmwood, and out of Dodge. Where Irvington PD promptly called for backup. Cuffed crowd on Valley at 7-11 also. Lovely stuff.
My 3.5yo human was doing the same. Hubby jogged home with him in his arms, all the while covering his ears

I'm curious who was operating the quad copter that was over the proceedings.
The grand finale(s) were, um, different. But overall a good show and we enjoyed it.
