Dr. Timothy Hamway

We need to send our daughter to a psychologist. She's what some call an explosive child. Her behavior has been getting worse, and we are at our wits end. If anyone knows anything about Dr. Hamway, we'd appreciate your comments. Also, we're open to other recommendations.

I don't know Hamway. Have you read the book, The Explosive Child? It is very good about dealing with these kids. I am jumping ahead here, but if medication is suggested, don't be afraid to try it. I have seen it do wonders for many, many kids. It can really help the explosions.

You have my sympathy, and my good news is that my child who was like that is not like that any more.
