Looks like it was a white Christmas for the pouches at Doggone Farm!

Love these pictures of happy dogs!

Love the snow as much as the dogggggs!

Playing in the snow is hard work for a little puppy! Taking a much needed nap!

Enjoying the holidays at Doggone Farm oh oh

Love, love love this thread!!

Those are some exhausted pups.

gabbie,

LOVE the pics of all the dogs, especially the one with the yellow lab. I have one who is almost 13 and I remember how excited he would get when it snowed. You picture captured it perfectly. Made me a little melancholy.

Mary, we'd love to meet your boy sometime! The yellow lab in that photo is 10yrs old and before it snowed she was pretty calm. Once the snow fell she was running around like a maniac oh oh In the spring and summer please feel free to come out for a playdate, the dogs (especially the senior ones with arthritis) LOVE swimming in our spring-fed pond. We had one dog this summer that was 14 yrs old and hobbling around everywhere, after one week with us and daily swimming she was RUNNING again, something her owners said she has not done for years! It brought tears to all our eyes oh oh

resting so we can stay up to watch the ball drop tonight! oh oh

That would be wonderful!

Happy New Year from Doggone Farm!!!

Thanks to all for a great first holiday season! We look forward to many more oh oh

oh oh but first we're looking forward to Spring!!

Aww, I wish we could send our doggie to your vacation spot. Unfortunately, she loathes all other dogs.

We adopted her from a rescue in North Carolina so have no idea what her background was, but we have never been able to socialize her with other dogs. (Cats are not a problem, but she's aggressive with other dogs and is scared of young children.)

Thanks for taking such good care of our guy. We had a long relaxed vacation knowing he was happy where he was. I also loved that you posted regular photo updates on fb and we could see how his day was going.

JCSO, if you are interested in continuing to try to socialize your girl despite the lack of success so far I strongly recommend you consult with Fernando Camacho. He can come to your home and work with you one on one and additionally in the Spring and Summer he regularly conducts pack walks (free of charge) in Brookdale Park in Montclair. Even very poorly socialized dogs attend regularly (Fern will position people to walk within safe distances of one another on leash) and it lasts about an hour or so. I strongly believe attending these structured walks regularly can greatly improve a dog's chances for learning to socialize properly with other dogs; after 30min most dogs slip right into the pack mentality and stop barking/lunging at others and just walk with the group. Fern's website is www.ferndogtraining.com

Thanks mantram, it was our pleasure! So glad you could keep up with the Facebook pics oh oh
