Congratulations to the Cubbies!

Better than walking to runs home... but yeah, not the best baseball.

That was the downside: More mistakes than you want to see from the top two teams fighting for it all, though understandable considering how fatigued they must have been.

Best part for me was Rizzo confessing to Ross in dugout:

"I can't control myself. I'm tying my best. I'm an emotional wreck,"

Lanky, did you make it to Game 7? If so, have you recovered? regardless, congrats to the Cubbies! snake

I was there! It was amazing. It helped that there were just a few other Cubs fans there...

Congratulations! A few Cub fans? Progressive Field could have had its own alderman.

Never been to a WS game - let alone an epic Game 7 to end a 108-year drought - but as a dyed-in-the-wool Yankee fan I've been lucky enough to go to some special games...Dave Righetti's July 4, 1983 no-hitter....Jeter's dive into the stands game....Aaron Boone's Game 7 walk-off [I could hardly talk for a week]....Funny how they all came against the Sox cheese

The Sox have had our number lately, but I have a feeling the tables may turn in the next couple years...We'll see...

The Boone shot must've have been epic - I still remember exactly where I was for that one (at a bar in Dallas on the covered patio outside watching at a table right behind two Red Sox fans).

I've been a Yankees STH for 15 years so I've seen a few WS games but nothing compares to the Cubs being in it (Bartman, actually Alex Gonzales, broke my heart in 2003 cuz I would have been able to see the Cubs with my Yanks season tix! My favorite Yankee Stadium moment I think was Jeter's last game there - the epic walk-off single to win the (relatively meaningless) game - such a way to go out!
