I think people should decide their ethical and moral positions, and then decide if they want to label themselves.
Not vice-versa.

What would you call anybody else who wasn't the President but who consistently denigrated people based on their race, gender, 'orientation' or disability?
Is it really that difficult?
So by acknowledging that sliver it sounds like you've made a decision. Cool.
Moving forward for the record that would be- racist, misogynist, homophobic and ableist.
The Republicans I know in Maplewood are pretty quiet now. I know one in particular who listens to Rush Limbaugh every day. Still thinks Trump is doing an excellent job with deportations, yet picks up illegals in Irvington for work. I don't speak politics with them, it's too upsetting.

An old saying - "There are some people who, if they don't know, you can't tell them."

The Township just lost a fine Republican. Mike Summersgill who ran for TC in 2017 and lost.
Despite a busy schedule Mike volunteered to bring a physician if necessary or transport an ill neighbor to a doctor. I had approached those in charge of this sort of thing....not the EMT's and pretty much been given the run around. Later when questioned at a meeting of Seniors they were lied to as to what actually happened. I found myself in an1984 type situation where reality was distorted and I had no way to prove it. Mike made the offer and we would have used his services but the women in my life came through and provided a ride to a doctors office. I no longer drive since my heart attack.
Mike and his family have recently left town for greener pastures. I wish them the best.
