Christie vetoes first law to outlaw child marriage

As a subject onto itself there's nothing wrong with debating circumcision, which, as the liked article shows, goes well beyond religious ritual and is very common in the U.S.  I'm reluctant to discuss it in the same breath as things like grown men penetrating pre-pubsecent girl brides or female genital mutilation, which desexualizes women.  Thousands flee from the latter practices and/or are psychologically or physically traumatized by them.  I don't recall any man I know expressing regret or  resentment, or claiming sexual dysfunction from having been circumcised.

Some men do. They are misguided and wrong, but they do.

I agree with the rest of your assessment, BTW.
