Christie Endorses Trump for Prez: Bottom Feeders Unite

Goodness look how happy he is with himself and his choice. Does he know that NJ papers are calling for him to resign? He's oblivious to the misery NJ is in with him at the helm. But his Fake Friend Contract with Trump is far more important than the citizens of NJ.

Never mind resign can he be recalled?

A recall in NJ requires 25% of the registered voters - 1.4 million registered voters.

eta - Not going to happen.

Doom and gloom.

It won't happen if no one tries. I'm willing to sign onto a recall petition. Most NJ residents would be willing to sign. A movement is needed to get that door to door canvassing going.

When Trump started we were told no way would he win. Did he give up? No. Did Trump listen to the gloom and doom pundits who told all that Trump wasn't going to get anywhere?

BG9 - The six NJ newspapers owned by Gannett published the editorial calling for Christie to resign or if he refuses, that a recall petition be initiated. Gannett should initiate the recall petition,  in both its printed versions and on their websites. This at least would get a wider audience.  75% of all registered Democrats in the state would have to sign the recall petition. This assumes that no Republicans would sign the petition. I'm sure that some Republicans would sign a recall petition,  but it's still quite a hurdle.

I wonder what his 1pm press conference will be about?

Christie's press conference is on MSNBC now.

It's being streamed live at  http://www.app.com/story/news/politics/2016/03/03/chris-christie-press-conference/81269414/

FDU just conducted a job approval poll for Christie.  He's down to 27% approval overall.  The word cloud generated from respondents' top of mind descriptions of Christie is priceless.

The most damning criticism of Christie, of course, is that he could have been good if he cared about finding real solutions to New Jersey's problems.

Which he never did.  He was running for president from day one on the job.

Because he was groomed for the POTUS job by the Republican hierarchy.  Patrick Fitzgerald of the USA's office in the SDNY was supposed to be named US Attorney for NJ, but suddenly he got shipped off to Chicago and Christie became the boy wonder in NJ who would eventually be groomed by Giuliani to be king.  Along the way, especially in recent years, that relationship degraded, but Christie would not give up the ghost.

My guess, he's trying to run again. He'll never stop.

Don't be too hard to Christie... At the end of last night's debate, apparently all the other GOP candidates will also be supporting Trump if he's the party nominee.  this after calling him unfit, fraudulent, liar, inept, clueless, vulgar, etc.

Looks like being a member of the GOP is more important than being an American.

Christie's View from the Rear

http://www.northjersey.com/columnists/christie-s-new-view-from-the-rear-1.1523328

Don't ask my how, but I'm on the mailing list for the NJGOP's weekly newsletter. This morning's edition had a few real gems. It starts out like this:

This week, Governor Christie pushed back on the overblown hysteria from Trenton Democrats and the liberal media and challenged Democrats in the Legislature to stop playing political games and start doing their jobs.

Take a moment to ponder that thought.

At a press conference Thursday, much to the chagrin of Trenton Democrats, liberals in the media and entrenched special interest groups, Governor Christie made it clear that he's not going anywhere
and is fervently committed to build on our progress in New Jersey.
For well over a decade, Trenton Democrats have made it their policy to turn a blind eye to the broken public pension and health benefit programs in exchange for ever-flowing political contributions from public unions. It wasn't until Governor Christie became Governor that we finally had the leadership necessary to take the first steps to fixing public benefits, but their is still much more work to do.

I just put that there because of the typo.

He's still a political hack, isn't he? What's he running for now, governor of Kansas?

His twin, Sam Brownback, already destroyed Kansas with his "Conservative" fiscal plans.

I forgot to quote what the email newsletter said about the looming New Jersey Transit strike. Here it is in its entirety:

Impressive.

It's still not there.  Or did you forget your sarcasm emoticon?

Yes, I guess I should have been more clear. It said absolutely nothing about the strike. Not one word.

Not to worry.

Christie's got our backs:

NEWARK – Commuters bracing for the expected traffic Armageddon from a threatened NJ Transit strike might do well to follow New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s lead in advance of trains coming to a halt: Christie is going on vacation.
Christie on Monday said he has no plans to cancel a vacation celebrating his 30th anniversary with wife Mary Pat and insisted he’s not concerned about the optics of being away as negotiations take place -- with looming worst-case projections of added highway volume causing backups between 9 miles and 23 miles at the major crossings.

What a man!!! What a leader!!!

When the going gets tough, Christie get going.
