Lynn Kellogg, at the 6:00 mark.

I saw Hair w the original cast - my mother bought me tickets. She thought I’d like it. I’ll forever be grateful to her for that. It changed me. And Lynn Kellogg was among the most beautiful women ever to walk the earth

Scully treated me to the broadway show when we were dating.

"Hair" story: Approximately 1972. I was teaching at New Providence H.S.   Administration starting a program where kids could bring in records and play them over the sound system from 8:00 to 8:30. Ya got stuff like the Coca Cola theme, "Teach the world..", C.S.N. Joni and so forth. No Dylan or Lost Poets or The Fugs.

On this particular morning, "Hair" is on the turntable. We get through a couple of the songs when "Mr. Lincoln" begins... A couple of us new hires knew what was coming and, "That's cool."  So did one of the junior administrators ---

J.A.: "OH SH-t!" as he began running to the office to turn off the record before the F-bomb hit. No use trying for the intercom because that was useless.

Opps..... Not in time. Now most people would'a thunk that the world of education was in danger of collapse..,,,, "An F-bomb, chrissakes."

Fear not, Pilgrim (John Wayne tribute). The school is still standing.

I guess I was 15 when I saw Hair on Broadway. I was stunned and elated by it. I think I was dizzy when I walked out of the theater. I grew my hair out soon after. And I've never looked back.

Theater, and the arts in general, can be a very powerful thing.

I've seen all 3.

Then you should hear the end of the saga... 30 years later, Casey had the casket (and its inhabitant) in her keeping, and was running a brothel which catered to guys who like much older women. My character, Ernie English (who was in the show for a number of performances) actually fancied Casey's mother apparently.

Bev was a longtime friend of mine. Twenty years ago she was my assistant, and then years later she was my boss grin I appeared in a number of her live shows and I had one line in her recent short film (billed as "**** yelling ****"). Not surprisingly the film was a horror film parody called "Steamed" about a killer broccoli. Literally a stalk that stalked. grin

I  saw her last month at the screening of her film at the NEPA Horror Film Festival. It was the only festival being held this year because it's always held at a drive-in. She was happy and proud and got to see her film presented on the big screen. She was a lovely lady with a big laugh and a big smile. She will be missed.

RIP Bev.

RIP Mr. Dinkins.

He was a good man. Better than what followed in NYC by a long shot.

A classy gentleman. R.I.P.

A bodybuilding champion, discovered by Stanley Kubrick for A Clockwork Orange, taught all us kids in the UK how to cross the road safely through a series of PSA's in school and on TV, played Darth Vader and trained Christopher Reeve for his Superman role, and by all accounts a thoroughly fine chap who somehow fell out with Lucas and was even banned from attending Star Wars conventions. There is a documentary called I Am Your Father that goes into detail, but I haven't seen it here.

RIP Lord Vader, you both helped me cross the busy streets of London and scared the bejaysus outta me.

Oh, did he play the bodyguard/assistant for the guy in the wheelchair in Clockwork Orange?

I saw a tweet from Cary Elwes where he said that Prowse trained him for The Princess Bride.

He did. Also played The Monster in 1970's The Horror of Frankenstein.

Amazing art. What passion.

Thanks for the tip.  I’m listening now.
