The Temple B’nai Abraham Congregational Learning program is offering a class with Rabbi Kulwin, “Dying, Death and Mourning: What a Jew believes and what a Jew does”, at the temple, 300 East Northfield Road, Livingston, These classes are free and open to the community. “Dying, Death and Mourning: What a Jew believes and what a Jew does,” will be held on Wednesday, January 7, at 7:00 PM. Rabbi Kulwin will lead the class in review of Judaism’s end of life traditions in an effort to become familiar with the rituals and beliefs and understand some of the psychological insights behind them. We will also look at the bureaucratic aspects of dying; the roles played by funerals homes, synagogues and cemeteries, as well as consider what Judaism says about subjects such as “pre-planning.” To register go online at www.tbanj.org . or call 973-994-2290.
