SOMSD Board of Education Candidate Night

Wednesday, October 21 7:30-9:00 p.m. at the Maplewood Middle School. Sponsored by the League of Women Voters and the SOMSD PTA Presidents\' Council. 9 candidates are vying for 3 open seats. Which candidates will win your votes in the November 3 SOMSD Board of Education race? Still deciding? Have questions for the candidates? Or just want to be a well-informed voter? Candidate Night will help you gain a better understanding of the people running for the South Orange/Maplewood Board of Education and where they stand on issues that impact our students, teachers, schools, and community. Please join us on Wednesday, October 21 from 7:30-9:00 pm at the Maplewood Middle School auditorium. The event format will give candidates an opportunity to highlight differences, answer the tough questions, and discuss how they feel about actual votes taken by the Board. Attendees will also be able to submit their own questions for the candidates.
