Open Orange Exhibit Opening Reception

OPEN ORANGE Opening Celebration, Thursday, May 14 at 6pm, is a Centerpiece of the Valley Arts District’s Weeklong Kickoff of its Tenth Anniversary Year. This diverse and powerful exhibition features 97 works by 35 artists from the Oranges, New Jersey, and New York City. Members of the distinguished jury are: Tricia Laughlin Bloom, curator of American Art at New Jersey\'s Newark Museum, and Victoria Valentine, the founder and editor of Culture Type. Come meet the artists and explore the exhibit; the participating artists include Luis Alves, Tina Bernstein, Mary Jean Canziani, Amy Charmatz, Marilyn Cvitanic, William Daniels, Catherine Delett, Deborah Druick, Eileen Ferara, Ronald Freeman, Sandra Gottlieb, Adam Gustavson, George Kopp, Tara Kopp, Yvette Lucas, Lisa Macchi Joanna Madloch, Michael Maier, Rudy Martin, Michael McKenna, John Meola, Jeremy Moss, Elizabeth Munro, Amelia Panico, John Piccoli, Szilvia Revesz, Patricia Ritchie, Jonathan Robbins, Herb Rosenberg, C. Shofed, Mark Steigelman, Heidi Sussman, Louis Toledo, Richard Xuereb, and Andrea Zinn. Additionally, there will be a Gallery Talk with, and about, the artists on Saturday May 30 at 2:00pm. The gallery will also be open on Saturday, May 16 from 10am-4pm, and Sunday, May 17 from 1pm-4pm.
