Meet September’s Comedians

Sibo McNally – SOPAC welcomes local resident and SOMA mom Sibo McNally, a new comedian already making waves within and outside Essex County! Recently named a finalist for the Ladies of Laughter Comedy Competition, Sibo makes her Laughs in the Loft debut this week!

Alyce Chan – A multi-faceted artist and consummate professional, Alyce Chan works as speaker, writer, producer, and stand-up comedian with a global presence. Her Comedy has shattered audiences at renowned venues, including The Stand and the New York Comedy Club in New York City, plus Yuk Yuk’s in Canada, among others. A true force in Comedy, Alyce emerged as a finalist at the 2023 Boston Comedy Festival. She also serves as the creator of MOMCOMNYC, a parenting platform reaching a growing following of nearly 200k devoted fans.

Luke Thayer – Luke Thayer’s career in Comedy spans stage and screen. He has appeared on Laughs on FOX and received recognition in The New York Post’s Comics’ Favorite Jokes list. Luke has been profiled on MTV.com, Lifetime.com, and Nerve.com, and appeared on Tyra, The Food Network’s Food Detectives, NBC’s All Night with Joey Reynolds, The Newly Wed Game with Sherri Shepherd, and Comcast’s Trial By Laughter.

Petey DeAbreu – Born and raised in the Bronx, Petey DeAbreu brings something fresh to the world of Comedy that has not been felt since the golden age of New York City entertainment. Bringing down the house wherever he hits the stage, Petey has recently toured with Broad City’s Ilana Glazer and performed at Comedy Central’s Clusterfest. He also co-produced Glazer’s Comedy special “The Planet is Burning” on Amazon (2020) as well as co-produced and performed for Ilana Glazer Presents Comedy on Earth on Comedy Central (2021). Across his 10-year career, Petey has honed an expansive resume that includes acclaimed work as producer, writer, actor, host, and personality.
